Sudan Celebrates World Malaria Day :Cases of Malaria Down by more than 80%: Ministry

Kassala:  The Federal Ministry of Health declared that Malaria cases have dropped by over 80% of its initial percentage in the threshold year of 2000. The fatality rate also declined by 60% of its initial percentage in the threshold year of 2000.
Dr. Khalid Abdulmutalib said in the opening ceremony of the conference of the Malaria Directorates Managers in the states in Kassala that the strategy of the National Program to Combat Malaria is dependent on reinforcing combating Malaria and introducing the dual treatment methodology which covers 92% of Health units, this is in addition to adopting home treatment policies all across the localities with easy to use..more
