The Netherlands in Sudan: Facts and Figures Development and Humanitarian Assistance

The Kingdom of Netherland Ambassador at Khartoum Ms. Susanna Blankhart received Sudanese journalists at her residence on Thursday, on the occasion of ending of her period in Sudan. She pointed that Sudan and Netherland have a developing good relationship.

The ambassador said that for over than 40 years the Netherlands has been involved in Sudan through development and humanitarian assistance. Many recall the large contributions made to agricultural development projects from the Netherlands in Kassala and the Gezira Scheme in the seventies.
