Editorial :Better Late than Never

A very optimistic news article came out in the newspaper last week affirming that Sudan Railways will resume transporting passengers by the end of this year.
We, in Sudan Vision, called for Sudan Railways Corporation rehabilitation in several editorials and columns, to the extent that we proposed postponing all the government investment projects and transform its funding to rehabilitate Sudan Railways.
However, Sudan Railways comes on top of the giant government establishment as it owns a US$22 billion dollars representing its main infrastructure including the 5000 kilometers of rails besides the workshops and factories.
