Ethiopia, Sudan to Play Friendly to Mark 50th Anniversary of OAU/AU

The Executive Committee of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced that a friendly between Ethiopia and Sudan would be held in Addis Ababa, 25 May as part of activities marking the 50th anniversary of the OAU/AU.
In a communiqué after its two-day (15-16 May) meeting in Cairo, Egypt, the committee expressed CAF’s happiness to be involved in the celebrations of the 50th anniversary, being marked at the seat of AU in the Ethiopian capital.
The committee also hailed the Football Associations of Algeria and Morocco for their ”excellent” organisation of the recently held 2013 Under-20 and Under-17 tournaments respectively.
