European Banks Express Desire to Deal with Sudanese Counterparts

Khartoum- (smc) The Ministry of Investment has disclosed that agreements and memorandums of understandings have been signed with some European companies on expanding their investments in Sudan, noting that a number of European banks have shown their desire for financial and banking dealings, especially in the field of financial transfers through the official channels.
State Minister at the Ministry of Investment Osma Faisal has said in a statement to smc following his visit to some countries of the European Union (EU) that the ministry has reached agreement with European companies and business persons to formulate a roadmap for attracting new investments to Sudan.
He indicated that the Ministry of Investment is working to create conducive environment for attracting foreign investors in all sectors, a matter that would reflect positively on increasing production and productivity in the country.
The State Minister explained that they have presented thorough explanation about the investment opportunities in the country besides the privileges accorded to foreign investors.
