Hamid: Relations between Sudan and China are Strategic

Khartoum- Presidential Assistant Engineer Ibrahim Mahmoud Hamid has said the relations between Sudan and China are strategic and based on a number of agreements at

the government and party levels, referring to Sudan Government’s endeavor to benefit from the Chinese potentials and technology in the agricultural and productive fields.
Addressing Ramadan Iftar held by the Chinese Embassy in Khartoum, Hamid affirmed that Sudan supports the Silk Road Project, which is presented by China for serving the developing countries, hailing Bejing’s support to the Sudanese economy.
The Chinese Ambassador, Li Lianhe, said the stances of Sudan Government are supportive to China in the regional and international forums, describing formation of the government of national accord in Sudan as major success that followed a fruitful national dialogue.
The ambassador affirmed that he would exert more efforts for boosting the partnership between the two countries on the government and party levels.
