Government: S. Sudan Sheltering of Armed Groups Hinders Peace

Khartoum – (Sudan Vision –SMC) Sudanese delegation for the two areas talks affirmed that the SPLM-N doesn’t have a vision to achieve peace, adding that the period given by the AUHIP is more than enough.
Government delegation spokesperson, Dr. Hussein Hamdi said that the disputes within the SPLM-N leaderships affected negatively in making a breakthrough in the peace process.
He pointed out that the SPLM-N demands to amend the US proposal are unjustifiable as it hinder the humanitarian access to the affected people.
Hamdi affirmed that Juba’s support to the Sudanese armed groups is the biggest obstacle to strike a deal with the SPLM-N, calling on Juba to stop harbouring the armed groups and work jointly with Sudan to achieve peace and stability in the two areas.
