BADEA Achievements in 2016 Praised

Khartoum - The Algerian Minister for Digital Economy and Modernization of Financial Systems, Mutassim Boudhiaf, has chaired the 42nd session of the Council of Governors of the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA), which was held in Algeria.
The minister welcomed the results realized by BADEA in Africa during the year 2016 in the field of financing, especially that directed towards the private sector besides promotion of the Arab exports to the African countries.
He pointed out that the positive results realized during the same period by the bank are the outcome of the rational and transparent policy which has been adopted by BADEA.
He said BADEA is anticipated to continue in the same manner of the realized achievements during the current year in a way that enables realization of the objectives of the member states, which look forward that this financial situation would be a tool for strengthening Afro-Arab cooperation and partnership.
