Khartoum-The minister of Social Welfare Mashair Al-Dawalab has appreciated the role of Savings Bank in supporting poor people
. While she was addressing the board directors’ assembly on Saturday, the minister assured that accord government aimed at creating strong social and economic development.
“Social and economic issues were constituted one of the outstanding issues to discussions and debates of the national dialogue” said Al-Dawalab who praised the efforts exerted by the Savings Bank realize microfinance policy adding “Savings Bank is the Bank of poor people”.
On his part the acting governor of the Central Bank of Sudan Badr El-Deen Gorashi disclosed that the microfinance fund volume totaled to SDGs 674 million appealing to “expansion” of the funding.
The meeting recommended increasing women funding rate in rural areas from SDGs 2 thousand to 5 thousands.
