Sudanese-Indonesian Friendship Society Organizes Festival to Showcase Indonesian Dance

Khartoum - Sudanese-Indonesian Friendship Society has organized a 2-deay-festival to showcase Indonesian dance on 13-14 April, graced by the Presidential Assistant Abdul-Rahman Al-Sadiq Al-Mahdi, the Governor of Khartoum state, Abdul-Rahim Mohamed Hussein.
The final ceremony held at the Green Square, Khartoum, drew considerable public participants from Sudanese, foreign communities in Khartoum, in addition to international Indonesian students studying at Sudanese universities. "The visiting Indonesian dance bands represent a small part of Indonesian prolific heritage, which contains more than three thousand traditional dances," the Indonesian Ambassador to Sudan, Burhan Ul-Din Badr al-Zaman said while addressing the crowd.
Al-Zaman announced a full-board 4-day ticket for the public to visit his country within the framework of friendship and exchange of visits between the two countries.
