British Ambassador Promises to Remove Obstacles facing Gum Arabic Export

Khartoum: The secrtary General of Gum arabic Council Dr. Abdulmajid Abdulgadir said that British ambassador to Khartoum Michelle Aaron has promised to remove all the obstacles facing export of Gum Arabic to Britain in addition to increase the number of the projects and providing support to Gum Arabic sector in the country as more than 70 thousands tons of Gum Arabic are exported to western Europe to the value of more than 200 million Dollars and 50% of them goes to Britain
Detailed explanation on the difficulties facing Gum Arabic export was presented By Abdulmajid following  the meeting with British Ambassador in the presence of the economic consulate and a number of companies operating in the field of Gum Arabic .
Abdulmajid Added that one of the bigest obstalces is the American blockade imposed on Sudan which caused in the non-transfer of technologies and the non-transfer of the value of Sudan’s exports at the European Bank.
