Social Development to Fund 500 Micro Finance Projects for Graduates
Khartoum - Minister of Guidance and Social Development in Khartoum state Mashair Alamin Aldoleb witnessed yesterday morning the ceremonies of signing the Graduates Financing Fund agreement between the Social Development Institution represented by its general manager Sami Aldin Mohammed Saeed and Farmers' Commercial Bank represented by the general manager of the bank Suleiman Hashim Mohammed.
An initial financing contract was signed for an amount of SDG5 Million to finance the projects of 250 graduates as a first phase; a number that will go up to 500 in the second phase.
Graduates Fund is considered a partnership between the Central Bank of Sudan and the banks accredited by the cabinet and the micro finance institutions. The fund is intended to finance graduates projects to resolve employment issues and disseminate the idea of owning a business.
