Taha Receives Phone Call from Egyptian Prime Minister
Khartoum - First Vice President Ali Osman Taha received a call yesterday from Egyptian Prime Minister Hisham Gindeel congratulating him on the occasion of Eid.
Gindeel said during the phone call that his country is closely following the news about the floods in Sudan and he expressed his country's readiness to provide any needed help should it be necessary.
Taha expressed the Sudanese government and people's appreciation and gratitude for the government and people of Egypt for these fraternal emotions and spirit.
The first Vice President reassured the Egyptian Prime Minister that the country has heightened the level of alertness and that national experts will contain the situation with the permission of Allah.
