Khartoum State Undertakes to Provide Funds for Agricultural Projects
Khartoum - The Minister of Finance, Economy and Consumer's Affairs in Khartoum State, Siddiq Mohamed Ali Al-Sheikh, has affirmed to provide funds for rain-fed and irrigated agricultural projects in the state, specially the high-yield projects and the crops of food security.
Engineer Al- Sheikh said, when he chaired Monday a joint meeting with the Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation, Engineer Azhari Khalafallah, in the presence of the directors of finance and agriculture, that the state's plans aimed at the expansion of agricultural projects, employment of graduates and fattening of cattle.
The meeting underscored provision of three mobile vans to provide veterinary services to the various rural areas in the state. The meeting also discussed ways on how to benefit from the Chinese loan in indigenization of the projects of potato cultivation, processing industries, fish farming and refrigerated warehouses.
