2217 Inmates Released in Khartoum State

Khartoum - Governor of Khartoum state announced the release of 2217 private property offending inmates in Khartoum state.
The governor commended the efforts of the federal Ministry of Social Welfare, state Ministry of Guidance and Social Development, the state Zakat Council, and Employers and Business Owners Association in actively contributing to this project; confirming that this is not the last one and they are going to continue working in this direction.
On her part the Federal Ministry of Social Welfare Amira Al-Fadil commended the program saying that releasing this number of inmates before Eid will bring happiness and joy to the hearts of the family members who were awaiting the moment their loved ones would be released.
Khartoum state minister of Guidance and Social Development explained that the spearhead of this annually implemented program is the Zakat Council and whose idea was further expanded by the governor of Khartoum state; confirming that the number of people benefiting from this program is going to be increased through raising more donations to free more inmates.
