Minister of Industry Reviews with Brazilian Ambassador Investment Opportunities in Sudan

The Minister of Industry Engineer Abdal-Wahab Mohamed Osman has reviewed with the Brazilian Ambassador to Sudan Antonio Carlos investment opportunities in the various industrial fields including sugar and the succeeding industries such as ethanol, fodders, electricity, meat, leather and poultry.

The minister welcomed the entry of Brazilian companies to the field of edible oil industries along manufacturing of fertilizers including potassium and phosphorus.

The Minister of Industry said that "We are looking forward to further cooperation in agriculture, industry and livestock." We need to exchange experience in all technical aspects, technologies and human development, he added.

The minister referred to the advantages enjoyed by Sudan as a pathway to the African and Arab countries and a market opening to many countries in accordance with agreements with the Arab and COMESA countries.

The Brazilian ambassador in Sudan, meanwhile, welcomed the growing Sudanese-Brazilian relations, urging the Brazilian private sector for more investment in the various economic sectors in Sudan.
