Finance Ministry Expects Further Fall of Dollar Exchange Rate

Khartoum - Ministry of Finance and National Economy announced that the oil transit fees of South State that was recently agreed upon will serve as additional resources for the 2012 budget passed by Parliament recently, which did not include the said fees.
State Minister at the Ministry of Finance, Dr. Abdul Rahman Dirar pointed to the absence of any other budget, revealing welcome of the IMF and donor countries of the economic policies pursued by the state recently.
On the other hand, a number of Economic experts expect a significant decrease of exchange rates and foreign currencies in the coming days, especially after the oil agreement between the states of Sudan and the South.
NCP Secretary of  Economic Secretariat, Al-Zubair Ahmed Al-Hassan stressed that the efforts made by the CBOS to provide loans from abroad and the last oil deal led to a significant decrease of the exchange rate, expecting further decline in the coming days.
