Minister of Foreign Trade Calls to Benefit from Austerity Money to Finance Sudanese Exports

Khartoum - Minister of Foreign Trade said the austerity measures adopted by the government must play a positive role in the Sudanese economy; and its positive effects must be directed to support Sudanese exports.
The minister called on the Ministry of Finance and National Economy to change the way it spends money; pointing out that spending on production means spending on security; attributing the economic collapse to the collapse of production not institutions.
Alshareef declared that a training program is set in motion to train 100graduates in the field of working in cooperative societies. The previous announcement came during the handing (over/reception) process between the National Forestry Corporation and the Ministry of Foreign Trade. The minister said: "If we want to save up, we have to concentrate on productive activities and production".
Minister of Environment and Urban Development Hassan Abd Algadir Hilal said it's important to teach the new generations the culture of sowing and protecting trees in schools. He also said it's important to adopt a national strategy for restoring the green cover that has been imbalanced by climatic change. He revealed the ministry is about to establish 1000 plantations in the states to spread the green cover into the areas affected by draught and desertification.
In the same context the director general of the National forestry Corporation Dr. Abd Alazeem Merghani announced the planting of 6 million trees under the emblem of (Towards a green environment). Merghani said forest areas must be increased after 70% of them were lost due the secession of South Sudan.
