Commissioner, His Driver Assassinated in Northern Darfur

El Fasher - Kutum- An Unidentified armed group assassinated, on Wednesday morning, the Commissioner of Al-Waha, Northern Darfur, Abdul Rahman Mohammed Issa Momen and his driver Yousef Al-Hamdo in Kutum market.
Sources from the city of Kutum told Sudan Vision that the unidentified gunmen fired heavily, where the Commissioner and his driver were seriously injured, and transported to Kutum Hospital for treatment, but they were died, while the perpetrators took the Land cruiser car and fled towards west of Kutum.
Kutum Commissioner, Ahmed Adam told (Sudan Vision), that his locality prepared mobilization, where they were able to return the commissioner vehicle, while the authorities are still pursuing the perpetrators.
Governor of Northern Darfur, accompanied by members of the State Security Council and leading figures in the area, visited Kutum, where they offered condolences to the family of the late Commissioner.
