Minister of Health, Brazilian Ambassador Discuss Health Cooperation

Khartoum - Federal Health Minister Bahr Idris Abu Garda discussed with the Brazilian ambassador in Sudan Antonio Carlos the ways of developing relations between Sudan and Brazil in the field of health cooperation; especially in the fields of preventive medicine, treatment of epidemic diseases, and the medications industry. He also suggested that the two countries must cooperate to develop their health departments by the training and supporting medical staff and offering training opportunities for Sudanese medical cadres in Brazil, as well as to cooperate for reinforcing medical system by benefiting from the distinct Brazilian experiences in the field yellow fever vaccines.
He also encouraged sharing and exchanging experiences on the international level; especially those of Brazil in the field of food technology and how it could be used for improving health services.
On his part; the Brazilian ambassador to Sudan confirmed that relations between Sudan and Brazil in all fields are deep-rooted and coherent; he also renewed his commitment to preserving and keeping these relations always strong, especially those in the field of health, pointing out that reinforcing health systems is one of the topics that talks between the two countries always focus on.
