State Minister of Petroleum Praises Nile Petroleum Company

Khartoum  - The State Minister at the Ministry of Oil Engineer Faisal Hamad has lauded the development of the Nile Petroleum Company and its excellence in distribution of oil products.
This came during his inspected visit he paid Monday to the company, commending the company's efforts in employing considerable number of graduates in Khartoum through introduction of motor cycles to deliver gas service to homes in partnership with the Ministry of Guidance and Social Development at Khartoum State besides provision of social services to the community.
Engineer Hamad urged the company's management to extend more social services and to give more attention to environmental and safety procedures in all work sites, affirming concern of his ministry with all the company's activities and with provision of necessary assistance.
For his part, the Director-General of the Nile Company for Petroleum Hussein Nasr-Eddin extended a detailed explanation about the departments of the company and its affiliated companies along stages of its development emphasizing his company's commitment with the health and safety of the environment.
He revealed that the company has planted 330,000 trees in the industrial area of Khartoum North in coordination with the National Forests Corporation to combat desertification. That is beside the company's efforts to convert most of the bakeries using coal-fired plant to work with gas through expansion of storing capacity.
