18 Companies Operate in Mining Field in Gedarif State

Khartoum - Minister of Urban Planning of the Gedarif State, Abdul-Azim Saeed Bedawi, affirmed that 18 companies have received their privilege sites on the ground for minerals' discovery.
He said in the statement to SUNA, on the sidelines of the third meeting to the Council of Federal Coordinative to the Ministers in charge of the mining files at the Minister of Mining in the States, that Gedarif State has offered safety health, environment and water at the different mining sites.
He said that the meeting was a good opportunity to stand on different experiences of the states and to strength the experiences exchange, and to boost the coordination between the states and federal ministries in field of mining activities, pointing out to the existence harmony and entire coordination between the federal ministry and Gedarif state.
Meanwhile, the Minister of Finance of River Nile State, Mudathir Abdul-Gani, said that several companies operating in the gold exploration in the state would enter the production stage in the next month.
He indicated in the statement to SUNA that there is entire coordination with the federal Ministry of Mining, especially in the traditional mining with regard to providing services at different sites.
