Parliament's Financial Committee forms Four Specialized Departments to implement Economic Policies

Khartoum  - The Committee of Financial and Economic Affairs at the National Assembly, headed by its Chairman Dr. Omer Ali, held a meeting Wednesday attended by a number of specialists in economic field.
The meeting reviewed the plan of action of the committee during the vacation of the parliament.
The members praised the plan because it included axes an intensive and effective program enshrines field visits to the ministries, corporations, national projects and banks as well as the institutions related to the economic sector.
The meeting discussed importance of raising necessary fund for the agricultural season within the framework of the state policies to increase production and productivity besides the proposal of the committee on holding of workshops to discuss the issues and challenges facing the economic sector, tackling the role of the Corporation of Standards and Metrology concerning the exports and imports.
The meeting concluded formation of four specialized departments in line with the legislative and oversight role of the committee to make sure the implementation of economic policies that have been passed by the parliament with regard to the budget, financing, institutions, agencies and commercial banks to get assured on the progress of work on the major national projects.
