Cabinet Minister Urges Expatriates to Invest in Sudan to Support Sudan Economy
Khartoum - The Minister of the Council of Ministers Ahmed Saad Omer has urged the Sudanese working abroad to invest their money in the country to support the national economy.
This came when he addressed Monday the inaugural sitting of the Second Conference on Economics of Migration under the slogan (Towards Fruitful Partnership between the State and Expatriate" under the patronage of the First Vice President of Republic Ali Osman Mohamed Taha.
The minister asserted that the issue of economics of migration topped the priorities of the state at the current stage and the conference has great significance, especially in the light of the current economic variables to help Sudan overcome the challenges it faces.
He added that the resolutions of the conference would be a road map for the officials in dealing with the economics of migration, explaining that the sponsorship of the First Vice President of the Republic to the conference and his address to the concluding session confirm the concern of the government with the expatriates and its endeavour to employ their capabilities and experiences for the interest of the homeland.
He pointed out that the people of Sudan, with their patience and determination, have aborted the attempts of the enemies to destabilize the security and stability of the country, stating that the conference is a good opportunity to invest money and minds of the people of Sudan.
