Consultative Forum to Promote Voluntary and Humanitarian Work Today

Khartoum - Humanitarian Aid Commission holds the Consultative Forum for the Development and Promotion of Humanitarian and Voluntary Work in Khartoum state today Thursday, the forum is under the emblem of "Let's Work together for Humanity's Sake" and is held in collaboration with the Ministry of Guidance and Social Development.
Minister of Guidance and Social Development Mashair Aldoli confirmed the importance of the role of the Humanitarian Aid Commission in coordinating voluntary work and supporting the civil society in the work they do to complement the government's efforts in all the activities of the social field.
The minister has also affirmed the importance of implementing the President's decree regarding the Sudanization of voluntary work through building the capacities of the national organizations and conducting advanced training.
She pointed out the necessity of improving the legislations and laws concerning the organization and support of voluntary work efforts and completing the institutional structure of the commission to enable it to perform its tasks in the light of the increasing numbers of organizations and the improving role of the activities of the civil society.
Khartoum state associations, unions, societies, and institutions are going to take part in the forum.
