Tutorials: Highlights on Taha's Visit to RNS (1)

Notwithstanding, the importance of the River Nile State (RNS) in the economic situation in Sudan makes it the most important productive state. This role comes from what this State really has, especially because of its strategic location besides the River Nile which feeds half of agricultural lands in the State. From this point, the visit of the first vice president Ali Osman Mohammed Taha to the River Nile State (RNS) last week reflexes the enthusiasm of the government to find solutions for economic development especially after the current economic crisis. During Taha's visit to the RNS, he inaugurated some of the economic development projects which the government really knows the capability of those projects in strengthen the economy of the country. Zahara project which was financed from the microfinance department in CBOS which, the project located in 10 kilometers southern Shendi town is one of the projects which offers a new type of opportunities of jobs for the youth of graduates. Those youth are the guidance of the salvation in the economic crises in this country as I affirmed in this space last tutorials heading "Government has the Solution but who knows!"
"Zahara'a project (2) for animal production is one of the new-born national projects, which depends on the experiences transferred from the other investment projects in the same field as well as it will be the beginning of the projects' series which would give more jobs for those graduated and thirsty to engage in works to help their families and to support the economical status through their productions. Also, it helps more than 300 families working in the project.
Continually, the Fabi project is also one of the newly born projects in Sudan which is regarded as one of the national stands of Sudan economy, which recently changed directly to depend on the agricultural projects which represent the real development for the economic situation in the country. We know that the effect on the economy comes from the

decreasing of the hard currency few months ago, especially after the loss of more than half of oil which had supported the economy in Sudan before secession. This means that the export of the local productions is less than the demand of basic imported-goods, So in this case have to increase our agricultural and animal productions to balance this economic situations and to raise awareness of the people to do the best in developing production while the government has to provide all tools, aids for those projects to increase the power of production in various fields. As a solution for the economic crisis, Fabi Project is considered as one of the projects that really contribute in the economy in Sudan. This project, which is located in Shendi Locality; about 18 kilometers west the town produces agricultural and animal productions as well as assists in bringing more hard currency to the country from exporting its productions, as well as exporting the leathers, which nowadays a dozen of it worth more than what a barrel of oil worth. Al-Waleed Fait, the chairperson of the Fabi Factories said. Frequently, while visiting Fabi projects, Taha directed the Ministry of Finance and the Governor of Central Bank of Sudan CBOS during his talking inside the project to visit the project in the coming days. Because seeing is believing. So I believe that the project would support the plan of the government to pass this crisis safely, accordingly, the Minister of Finance and the Governor of CBOS both have to visit the project as quick as possible – to begin in solving the problems which may be credible. Meanwhile, it will be better to transfer of experience of Fabi project to the other areas in RNS and to other states in the country. In the same hand, it is preferable if both men approved to take this project into consideration and to provide the capital for establishing and investing in the same field because it is regarded as the main exit of the economy. In RNS we really directed our efforts toward the agricultural development and the animal wealth as the same. According to several strategic features of RNS in cultivating different kinds of harvest such as  potatoes, onions and sugar beet besides the, horticultural crops, All of these will lead RNS to enter into Arab and foreign smart-partnerships to increase agricultural and animal production, because there is strong relation between animal and agriculture, if they treated with balance- developing. So the most important thing in this time is the stability of the electricity for the agricultural projects in the RNS in particular, it would be free as in the agricultural projects in Northern State.
