East Darfur Government Resigns
Al-Daein - East Darfur State government ministers tendered their resignations to the governor in response to the economic reforms announced by the President.
NCP Deputy Chairman in East Darfur State, Hassan Mahmoud told smc that his government tendered its resignation to implement the restructuring of the constitutional positions in the centre and the states.
He added that the new cabinet would include eight ministries instead of twelve besides reducing the number of advisors and commissioners to rationalize the expenses of the constitutionalists and reducing the constitutional positions.
Mahmoud disclosed that the new cabinet will be announced within the coming two days, affirming their keenness and commitment to all the agreements signed with the armed movements.
