Khartoum State Celebrates World Environment Day

Khartoum - Governor of Khartoum State, Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Khidir said the celebration of the World Environment Day is good opportunity for the revision of the performance of the State's Cleaning Project.
Dr. Al-Khidir addressing the launching of the Health Community campaign at Khartoum North Locality, Thursday said Khartoum State has introduced a number of sweeping machines to promote the performance in the project .
He announced that the state has established modern landfill for the disposal of waste, adding that a package of procedures will be taken concerning planting of trees and plastic bags.
