Blue Nile State Celebrates Completion of Roseiris Dam Heightening Project
Ad-Damazin: Blue Nile State is getting ready to celebrate the completion of Roseiris Dam Heightening Project where the project, its concrete body, and the sand dam have neared the completion phase. The celebration will be honored by the presence of the First Vice President Ali Osman Mohammed Taha who will inaugurate several of the accompanying projects during the ceremonies.
Engineer Mohammed Suleiman Judabi, Minister of Urban Planning and Public Utilities in Blue Nile State, clarified the First Vice President will inaugurate a number of service projects including the seating project in all the schools of the state, a number of local streets, water stations, Alshatei School, Roseiris East School, and the Alta'eif Mosque in Ad-Damazin. The residential housing towns for the citizens affected by the heightening project, Government headquarters, Hospitality Palace, Legislature building, the Sudanese Chinese Friendship Hospital, and a number of water harvesting projects are also among the projects the First Vice President is going to inaugurate.
In the same context, Blue Nile State will host the meeting of the federal cabinet in Ad-Damazen, capital of Blue Nile State, on July 12th 2012.
