Telefon Kuku Family Reiterates Call for His Release

Khartoum – Abul Qasim Fartak, who is in Charge of Media in defense campaign of Major General Telefon Kuku, said that the campaign would continue, affirming the great support from the government through repeated calls on South Sudan Government to release Sudanese detainee in the prisons of the South.
He revealed, in a statement to Sudan Vision, that a petition was delivered recently to the leaders of the Nuba Mountains, who were on a visit to Sudan, to address the international community and civil society organizations in the United States to pressure the Government of South Sudan to release Kuku.
Fartak revealed demands of people of the Nuba Mountains to include the release of Telephone Kuku in the agenda of negotiations between the Sudanese Government and the Government of South Sudan.
