Petroleum Minister Meets Yemeni Human and Star Oil Companies

Khartoum - The Minister of Petroleum Dr. Awad Ahmed Al-Jaz has presented a set of directives to speed-up the pace of work and to increase the oil production in the country.
This came when he met with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Yemeni Human Company, Shahir Abdel-Hag and delegation of Star Oil for Petroleum Operations led by its Chairperson Dr. Yousif Mohamed. The two companies are operating in oil exploration and production.
Dr. Al-Jaz gave directives to the directors of the two companies to accelerate and follow-up within their companies with precision and highly professionalism by focusing on the technical aspects for the country to reach the targeted increase of oil production in the coming period.
He revealed that the Petroleum Industry surrounded by more complications, urging the two companies' managers, engineers and technicians to work as a one team day and night, asking them to exert more effort and to be patient in order to complete all works that are put upon their shoulders.
Dr. Al-Jaz explained his ministry endeavour to expand the exploration operations in the various investment blocks across the country through entry of international companies, stressing removal of all obstacles hindering their progress in the country.
The managers of the companies, for their part, stressed their acceptance to the challenges and their endeavours to increase oil production, extending briefing on the progress of technical and exploration works in the past period besides the efforts being made to complete the task.
