State Minister of Industry Visits Asaad Steel Factory

State Minister of industry Mukhtar Abdelkerim inspected Asaad Steel factory which manufactures steel bars for concrete as part of wide field visits to find out the reasons that stopped the factory and to see how to solve them to enable the factories to improve their industrial products to reach the markets in high quality and efficiency.
Engineer Abdallah Redda the Manger of the products in the factory welcomed the efforts of the Ministry. He affirmed the integration of the efforts of the factory and the ministry of industry to develop iron industry sector.
Abdelkerim pointed out that the factory meets 75% of the need of the local market.
 He disclosed that an iron furnace will arrive soon; it is one of the largest iron furnaces in Sudan which is capable of covering the need of local market for iron.
 He disclosed that the lack of raw materials which are imported from abroad is one of the problems that hinder the production in the factory and therefore lead lack of products.
