Karti Holds Talks with German Officials on Bilateral Relations
Khartoum- Foreign Minister, Ali Karti, Monday concluded a visit to Germany during which he held talks with the Special Advisor of the German Chancellor and the German Foreign Minister, Guido Westerwelle.
Karti began his talks with his German counterpart on the bilateral relations and ways to boosting them in the political and economic domains, with special focus on special conference that the Germany plans to hold in next September to exhibit opportunities in the Sudanese economy.
The two ministers also reviewed the relations between Sudan and South Sudan, where the German Minister expressed understanding of Germany to Sudan view and its keenness to settle the differences with the South Sudan through negotiations; Affirming that Germany supports efforts of the African mediation in this connection.
The Foreign Minister also reviewed with the Special Advisor of the German Chancellor regional and international developments.
The Special Advisor expressed Germany's keenness to strengthen its relations with Sudan.
