Zuma to Table Zimbabwe Report at SADC Summit
President Jacob Zuma, who arrived in the Angolan capital Luanda last night for the SADC Extra-Ordinary Summit, is expected to table a report on the progress made in the implementation of the Global Political Agreement in Zimbabwe.
Speculation is rife that President Robert Mugabe's ruling Zanu-PF could present a final draft of the new constitution at the start of the meeting this morning. This could clear the stumbling in crafting a roadmap for elections in that country.
The UN World Tourism Authority has meanwhile denied that it has appointed Mugabe as its international tourism ambassador.
