NCP: Resolution of Security Issue Good Base for Rebuilding Confidence between the Two Sudans
Khartoum -The National Congress Party (NC) said reaching understandings on security arrangements file by the delegations of Sudan and State of South Sudan will be good foundation for rebuilding confidence between the two countries and that would pave way for reaching agreement which enable them to live peacefully.
NC Deputy Secretary of Information, Yassir Yousif said in press statements that Sudan delegation will go to the talks with a genuine desire to reach understandings with the State of South Sudan, stressing that the basic point is the South to response to reason and wisdom and to overlook the narrow interests which are linked to foreign agenda as well as desisting from supporting Darfur rebels and other movements which threaten national security of Sudan.
Yousif explained that the South has no justifications that negotiation start with security issue, demanding withdrawal of the forces of the Ninth the Tenth Divisions of People's Army for Sudanese territories.
