At a meeting with the Peace and Human Rights Committee in the Khartoum State legislature, he said that South Sudanese citizens must legalize their stay and get their identification papers issued from the concerned authorities, indicating that the commission is going to intensify media campaigns in the areas with large South Sudanese population through Sultans to stress the importance of heading to registration centers. The committee, headed by Aldirdiri Baballah, paid a visit to the commission to assess the arrangements of the commission to legalize the stay of South Sudanese citizens in Khartoum State, a visit during which the committee has been assured of the procedures related to transporting the South Sudanese citizens to their country.
