Great Efforts for Griselda's Hopes

Atbara - The General Manager of The Ministry of Culture Information and Telecommunications in The River Nile State (RNS) Prof. Awadel-Karim B. Suleiman has received, on Thursday, May24th, in the, Ministry, a delegation chaired by Griselda El-Tayib 87 years old. She is the widow of Prof. Abdullah Al-Tayib, The Godfather of Arabic language.
The General Manager discussed with the delegation the implementing of the cultural project of establishing cultural center in the name of prof. Abdullah El-Tayib.
"The Ministry of Civil Planning at RNS has provided the project a land of 20,000 (square meters) at Addamer, the Capital of the State, for constructing the Center". The General Manager said. He added that there is a high committee chaired by The Minister of Culture, Information and Telecommunications, his Excellency, Ahmed Al-Amawi to find all logistical support for establishing this center which would be located at Addamer Locality, soon; and to raise its report –the committee- up to the Governor of RNS, his Excellency, Gen. Mag. Al-Hadi A. Al-Awad, who, from his side, would present the report to the President of the Republic, Field Marshal, Omer Al-Bashir to make a decision for implementing the Center".
Moreover, The Minister of Culture, Al-Amawi, from Khartoum, spoke to the delegation chair through mobile-call saying that the exertion of the high committee headed by him is going on straight line encouraging the donors from different countries to continue their effort seriously; in addition to the governmental efforts.
Meanwhile, Griselda appreciated the great efforts which are provided by the officials of the RNS, as she gratitude the team-work of the committee of documenting prof. El-Tayib 's Biography, which achieves to an end nearly. She also directed the committee to take the missed information, in particular, for the era of 1940s of El-Tayib, from prof. Abdul-Gadir Mahmud, who is a professor of Archeology at Al-Nelain University, and Sudan Open University.
In addition, Griselda told 'Sudan Vision' that she is very happy, that "this idea which has been in the air since 1970s is now being taken seriously with enthusiasm by the present Minister Al-Amawi, and Dr. Awad the General Manager of the Ministry and the members of community, believing that the project in a small modest way – really serves more useful purposes to the community. Furthermore, she hopes that the both parties come to comprise that the activities should be done so soon in a rented location or at prof. Abdullah El-Tayib School at Addamer to prove the creditability of the parties, she promised that when she come back after coming Ramadan will have a lecture at the Center.
