Game of the Returnees from Israel
Last week, a number of news agencies have recently circulated small news stories that the Israeli government decided to deploy South Sudanese citizens, currently staying in Israel, to South Sudan. But, the news did not give any details in the time of return and the estimated number of the people supposed to be deported, and whether non-Sudanese citizens will be among the returnees.
Two days after the publishing of the news, the President of South Sudan Salva Kiir addressed a gathering of South Sudan citizens in the freedom square, on the occasion of the 29th anniversary of the establishment of the SPLA, urging the citizens to work especially in field of agriculture to fight hunger. Kiir asked the South Sudanese citizens to stop drinking alcohol in the day, and issued a decision to close bars in the day. He furthermore urged South Sudanese citizens to stop slavery especially in the central equatorial.
In the meantime, there another news story that Israel has decided to establish a model farm in the South similar to the settlement agricultural compounds in the occupied land. These news are clear sign that Israel is planning something for South Sudan. The plan seems to be about finding a way for Israel to set foot in South Sudan. Of course, such move will have a catastrophic impact on Sudan and the region as whole.
Addressing mass rallies in South Darfur state, the assistant to the President, Dr. Nafie Ali Nafie has said that an agreement was reached between the South Sudan Defense Ministry and the Israeli government to transport the South Sudanese citizens in Israel to South Sudan prior to send them into military training camps in Raja, South Sudan to involve them in war in Darfur.
President Kiir was promoting the Israeli plan among the South Sudan youths while urging them to get rid of slavery so as not to avoid any embarrassment with Israel. Probably, Israel is trying to help the South and make use of these young people in war in other parts of Sudan. The plan is no longer a secret.
