NCP Downplays US Congressional Committee Resolution
Khartoum – NCP announced that the US Congressional resolution to cut off aid to any state that hosts Sudanese President Omer Al Bashir on the background of the ICC arrest warrant doesn’t concern Sudan as it addresses the ICC member states.
NCP spokesman, Prof. Badr Addeen Ahmed Ibrahim told Sudan Vision that the US Administration is working as the policeman of the globe to impose its stances on the states under the cover of international organizations.
On Abyei issue, Ibrahim said that the extension of mandate of UN troops in Abyei for another six months comes within the framework of AUHIP Chief steps pointing out that Abyei is governed by specific protocols stipulated in the Comprehensive Peace Agreement.
