Petroleum Minister Chairs Meeting of Council of Planning for Settlement of Oil Industries
Khartoum - The Minister of Petroleum, Dr. Awad Ahmed Al-Jaz, has underscored the importance of settlement of the oil industry in the country with the context of the five-year plan and through a programmed plan that is based on determining the actual requirements and absorbs the potentialities of existing industrial base toward pushing ahead the settlement of the oil industry.
This came when Dr. Al-Jaz chaired Wednesday the first meeting of the Council of Planning for Settlement of Oil Industries which included representatives of the private and public sectors' institutions for coordination between the different concerned sectors, a matter that would lead to availability of the required spare-parts in the petroleum field.
He said that this issue necessitates a high-level of seriousness to reach the aspired goal of providing all the oil industry inputs locally and by pure Sudanese manpower and capabilities.
Meanwhile, members of the council affirmed their readiness to work for providing the oil sector with spare-parts, especially in the petroleum field.
They affirmed the importance of coordination between the concerned sectors to benefit from the existing capabilities for pushing ahead the work in this domain.
