SG2Mln for Microfinance in Blue Nile

The Central Bank of Sudan (CBOS) has earmarked an estimated amount of two millions in Sudanese Geneih (SDG2mln) in support to the High Council for micro-finance to be formed in the state of Blue Nile. The governor of the state, Al Hadi Bushra said that development process will kick off in the state to end poverty. The deputy governor of the bank, Mohamed Ali Al Sheikh during a ceremony of inaugurating the bank’s branch in the state’s capital town of Damazin said that the bank would dedicate its efforts to expanding micro finance across the state. He noted that the Central Bank will work for helping the state make up for lack of support over the past years. 
He pointed out that the bank would perform its duty properly; in addition to its keen endeavor to make micro finance project a success in the state.
The branch of Damazin was the fifth branch to be opened by the Central Bank during this year within the system of new branches aimed at extending service to include all states of Sudan. The Bank is currently working on setting up final two branches in the cities of Adieain and Zalingei to finalize its branches across the board.
