Central Bank Branch in Kassala Strategic Development Partner: Governor

Kassala - Kassala Governor Mohammed Yousif Adam expressed the State's joy over the opening of the branch of the Central Bank of Sudan in Kassala town, assuring the branches of banks in the state that all their problems will be addressed after the opening of the Central bank branch. He affirmed that the bank will work efficiently to achieve the objectives for which the branch was set up.
Representative of the Governor of Bank of Sudan, Abdel Latif Abdallah, said that the bank is a strategic partner in economic and social development, pointing out that the opening of the branch has some tidings for the state as it organizes the operations of mobilizing and employing sources through the branches of the commercial banks in order to meet and cover the needs of the productive sectors in the state. As well as availing cash to bank branches, state government besides facilitating the flow of remittances in addition to its role as a right arm to the Minister of Finance.
At the end of the inauguration ceremony, the governor opened the premises of the branch that started its first transaction by opening the first account to the state government under the request of the Finance Minister.
