2012 Quarterly Cement Production Reaches Million Tons

Khartoum - The actual 2012 quarterly cement production reached a million tons. Engineer Abdelwahab Osman, Minister of Industry, said that this production equals to 33% of last year's production, year of 2011.
The Minister confirmed that Sudan has achieved self-sufficiency regarding this product and it has the ability to export to the neighboring countries, indicating that all obstacles hindering the industry's exports, production costs, and quality control have been eliminated in an effort to stimulate the exportation of industrial productions.
He also explained the need for continued execution of the financial policies that assist in exporting industrial productions by export incentives and tax exemptions.
