Kibir Holds Meeting with Prosecutor General of Darfur Crimes

Alfasher: Mohammed Osman Kibir, governor of North Darfur State, commended the efforts the Darfur Crimes Court whose endeavor is to reinforce security, and realize stability in Darfur.
In a meeting with the governor, Judge Ahmed Abdel-mutalib Ahmed briefed the governor on the preparations and the plan devised to commence the investigations concerning the crimes in Darfur. The prosecutor said in press release yesterday that he met with the governor to inform him that the investigations have already been started, a thing that will help facilitate their work, especially after having decided that that they are going to be based in Alfasher. He stressed that their job is to realize justice in all its forms. Mr. Abdell-mutalib confirmed the cooperation commitment of the governor to the court, a commitment that kicked off by donating a building to the court.
