SAF Defeats SPLA in Talodi

Khartoum - Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) announced that it repulsed to SPLA attack on Talodi yesterday morning, where the enemy suffered heavy causalities in lives and equipments.
SAF Spokesman, Colonel Al-Sawarmi Khalid Saad said, in statement yesterday, that the said attack came to cover the defeat in Higlig and to restore low morale of the SPLA, affirming that the victories of SAF, other regular forces and PDF are continuing.
He said that the SAF working to lay the foundations of security and stability in the city, and was able, in a short period to return it to normal life after the brutal aggression on its citizens by artillery shelling, which led to the loss of lives of women and children.
Saad said that the SPLA prepared a major offensive on the city in order to achieve victory to cover its defeat in Higlig and to raise the low morale of its troops, but the SAF repelled them, causing heavy losses in lives and equipments, where there were dozens of deaths and large amounts of military equipments, stressing that the SAF chasing the SPLA remnants to evacuate them from the area.
