Ban Ki-Moon Renews His Condemnation of South Sudan Aggression on Higlig

Khartoum - The UN Secretary General, Ban Ki-moon, has renewed his condemnation of the aggression of South Sudan State on Higlig area and demanded it to withdraw its forces immediately and without conditions from this area.
This came through a phone call Saturday afternoon between Ki-moon and the Foreign Minister, Ali Ahmed Karti.
Ki-moon has called on Sudan to stick to more self-restraint and to give chance to the efforts he and a number of international partners are exerting to reach withdrawal of the attacking forces without military confrontation.
Meanwhile, the Foreign Minister thanked the UN Secretary General over the UN stance concerning the aggression on the Sudanese territories.
He said that Sudan is in a position that does not allow delay and has no option other than taking defensive and military arrangements to repulse the aggression and aggressors.
Karti stressed at the same time that Sudan has no intention to violate the sovereignty of South Sudan State.
