Sudan Vision Visited Higlig after SPLA Attack
Khartoum - Sudan Vision visited the area attacked by the SPLA which lies 10 km within the Sudanese territories and viewed the military equipments destroyed by the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF).
Commander of Infantry Division 14 in South Kordofan, Maj. Gen. Bashir Mekki Al-Bahi, who visited the area yesterday said SAF is under the control of the areas around Higlig oil fields, and refuted President Salva Kiir claims of occupation of Higlig.

Speaking to Sudan Vision, he said they visited the site of the attack to reflect the fact that the situation in Higlig is normal and that the Government of South Sudan would not be able to undermine security and stability of the country.
He said SAF is within Sudanese territories and is ready for any eventuality.
Many residents who spoke to Sudan Vision in the area expressed displeasure over the South Sudanæ¯ attack on Higlig, with one resident saying the recent visit by South Sudan delegation was intended to cover up the attack.
