Jaafar Al-Mirgani Reviews Progress of Sudanese Omanian Relations

Khartoum - Assistant of the President of the Republic, Jaafar Al-Saddiq Al-Mirghani, has affirmed Sudan keenness to consolidate its relations and coordinate with the Sultanate of Oman in all domains, particularly in the economic and cultural fields.
This came when the Assistant of the President received Monday the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman, Abdallah bin Rashid, in his office at the Republican Palace, in the presence of the State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mansour Yosuf Al-Ajab.
Meanwhile, the State Minister for Foreign Affairs said in a statement to the press that the Assistant of the President discussed with the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman means of bolstering the economic cooperation between the two countries.
Dr. Al-Ajab explained that the Assistant of the President affirmed that the new investment Act of Sudan is encouraging to investment and that Sudan is now open for Investors, urging the Omani businessmen and Investors to invest in Sudan in order for realizing the Arab food security.
The meeting also touched on the economic alternatives in the aftermath of the cessation of South Sudan as well as the government orientation to create greater investment opportunities to to compensate the decrease in revenues.
The Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman affirmed that his country is very keen to boost its relations with the Sudan, affirming the importance of achievement of Arab food Security.
on the other side al-Saddiq Al-Mirghani, received in his office at Republican Palace Monday the Ambassador of Iran to Sudan, Jawad Turkbadi, and discussed progress of the bilateral relations and means of consolidating them further.
Meanwhile, the Iranian Ambassador affirmed in a statement to the press after the meeting the keenness of his country to boost its relations with Sudan, reiterating the Intention of Iran to implement investment and commercial projects with Sudan as part of the efforts to consolidate the relations between the two countries.
The Iranian Ambassador said that the meeting touched on the situation in Sudan and Iran as well as their stances at the international and regional arenas, besides issues of mutual concern.
