Extensive Measures to Return the Refugees from Chad

Khartoum - High Commission for Refugees attributed the postponement of the meeting of the High Commissioner in Geneva and the Commissioner for refugees in Chad to a later time due to strategic arrangements related to refugee matters.
The Commission President, Mohammed Ahmed Al-Agbash said that the said arrangements include many themes, noting that the High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) will visit Chad in the coming days for internal arrangements concerning the refugees camps, besides to the visit of the Chadian Refugees Commissioner to camps in Darfur to study their situation and how to return them again to Darfur.
Al-Agbash pointed out that there are intensive measures to facilitate the procedures between the two countries to ensure the return of refugees in scheduled time according to the Darfur Peace Agreement, which relates to the exchange of refugees, stressing that the meeting will be held the end of next March.
