Health Minister Pledges to Improve Service Terms for Doctors

The Federal Minister of Health Bahar Abu Garda has announced his adoption of recommendation of 24th Conference of Gynecological and pediatric specialist society conference to improve terms of service for doctors.
The state through its 5-year-plan for 2012-2016 aims to affirm the importance of  midwifery and its role in the society as well as providing trained needed to minimize  mortality rate among children and mothers, Abu Garda said while addressing the closing session of the 24th conference of society of gynecological and pediatric disease specialist.
“We rely on society specialized in community services and reproductive health,” he said, calling for concerting efforts to prevent and control AIDs among children, affirming that infection has declined in the country. The minister pointed out that two hundred and fifteen deaths among every one hundred thousand births were recorded in 2010, and that challenge still exists, calling for exerting further efforts to rid children of HIV infection during birth.
Police Lieut.  Gen.  Abdellatif Eshmaiq, the president of society of gynecological and pediatric disease specialists, underlined the importance of reproductive health, pointing out that the society is working hard to care and improve maternity health via researches, training and developing professional practices in sphere of reproductive health. Eshmaiq indicated that the conference seen as an opportunity for exchanging experiences, workshops and mutual seminars with participating organizations.
